Maternity Launching

Have a Happy “BIRTH-DAY“ at World Citi Med

I can still recall the pain of childbirth, the challenges of breastfeeding, and even a simple toilet break was really challenging when I gave birth to my son four years ago so, I promised myself, God-willing, if we are to be blessed with Baby Number 2, I would like me and my husband to really prepare for it. I want a more relaxing stay in the hospital, a more comfortable room for me and my baby. Dahil hindi pala madali manganak and kailangan talaga ng time for recovery ni mommy.

It seems like my desire for these requirements have already been met last August 14 when World Citi Med launched its new “nature-inspired“ Maternity Wing.

The hospital gathered their OB-GYNEs and pediatricians and facilitated a Mothers Class on Prenatal, Postnatal, Breastfeeding, and Family Planning for more than 50 pregnant moms who attended their launching. I wished I had these when I was pregnant with Zee, especially the Mothers Class, very informative especially for first- time parents.

The pregnant moms who attended the free talk were all given freebies and samples from generous sponsors and event partners: The Parenting Emporium, Beginnings, Cetaphil, Pampers, Huggies, Wilkins Pure, Chicco and Mommytreats. While the Mothers Class was on going at the 5th Floor Executive Lounge, the formal ribbon-cutting ceremony and the Christian dedication of the Maternity Wing was taking place on the 6thFloor with their Guest of Honor and World Citi Med officers.

Guico (President and CEO, World Citi Med); Dr. Margarita Santella-Jara (Medical Director, World Citi Med); and Mr. Jay Eusebio (Vice-President for Sales and Marketing,UNTV). Not pictured but present in the ribbon-cutting were Mr. Raymond Patrick Guico (Officer-in-Charge and CEO, World Citi Med); Dr. Meadina Cruz (Chairman, Department of Pediatrics, World Citi Med); the board members of the Private Hospitals Association of the Philippines Incorporated; Ms. Grace Annabelle Navarro (PVED Corporate Director, World Citi Med); and Pastor Alex Tinsay who led the dedication of the Maternity Wing.

Here‘s a quick tour of World Citi Med‘s “nature-inspired“ Maternity Wing: The hallway was creatively decorated with lovely photographs, positive quotes, and bible verses.

There are many rooms available ward, private and suite rooms.

Here‘s a look at their Private Room that looks so light, relaxing and refreshing. The walls are decorated with floral accents and painted in light happy colors.

Even their Maternity Ward is spacious and very comfortable.

Here‘s their Maternity Suite. It honestly looks like a chic hotel room with fresh plants I‘m sure mabilis makakarecover si Mommy and very comfortable din si baby.

Mommies, the rooms have Free wi-fi access too! Great, especially sa mga may relatives na malalayo para mapasilip din si baby :)

I also love how this hospital promotes breastfeeding, I am an advocate of breastfeeding kaya saludo talaga ako sa mga hospitals na sinusupport ang mga mommies sa breastfeeding journey nila.
