  • Esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD)
  • Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy (PEG)
  • H. Pylori Test
  • Proctosigmoidoscopy
  • Colonoscopy
  • Abdominal Paracentesis

Patients complaining of difficulty and pain in:

  • Swallowing
  • Abnormal pain and distension
  • Vomiting
  • Abnormal bowel movement
  • Malabsorption
  • Ictericia (Jaundice)
  • Hematemesis (Vomitin of blood)
  • Hematochezia (Passage of fresh blood through the anus)
  • Ascites
  • Abdominal mass
  • Abnormal results of liver function tests (SGPT, SGOT, Alkaline phosphatase, serum albumin, prothrombin time, bilirubin)
  • Serum amylase and lipase
  • Abnormal results in stool examination
  • Blood urea nitrogen
  • Scout film of the abdomen
  • Upper gastrointestinal series and other gastrointestinal tract
  • Hepatobiliary tract work-up
  • are referred to gastroenterologists for diagnosis, further investigation, and optimal management. In addition, diagnosed gastrointestinal, hepatobiliary and pancreatic diseases are referred to them for further management.
