Our MATERNITY WING, your birth place.
We’ve gone the extra mile to create a calm, tranquil, hotel-like, and nature-inspired environment with rooms that are designed for comfort and convenience of you and your family.
After labor comes rejuvenation and relaxation in your choice of room.
Private rooms are equipped with a 32” flat screen TV, mini fridge, wifi, a telephone line, sofa, modern and comfortable patient bed, side table with chair, fixtures, and cabinets. The toilet and bath are spacious and the floors are slip-free for your safety. Lights and doors open via key cards, a feature that was put in place to enhance your privacy, safety, and security.
Suites are bigger with more space to accommodate visitors. Its homey-feel, feminine touches, potted plants by the windowsill and all the amenities expected from a suite were all designed for you, your baby, and your companion’s pleasant and extra comfortable stay.
Wards have three patient beds that are separated by attractive, wraparound curtains with each portion having its own side table, cabinet, and chair. There is one spacious toilet and bath for you and your companion.
This direct-to-the-6th/Floor admission process is exclusive only for you. This gives you and your companion a general feeling of efficiency and convenience over and beyond what is done in other hospitals.
The same team of Registered Nurses will take care of you and your newborn from the time of admission until you leave. You see the same faces making you feel at ease as if you were with family.
A Birth Care Specialist (BCS) provides dedicated assistance from the time of inquiry up to a hassle-free discharge, saving your companion precious time and needless stress thus enabling you and your family to have more quality time with your newborn.
Our lactation nurse will put you through the paces of proper breastfeeding and demonstrate effective latching positions so that your newborn can suckle comfortably. This is in support of the National Rooming-in Policy (RA 7600) to encourage, protect and support the practice of breastfeeding that benefits mother and baby.
As an advocate of breastfeeding, we thoughtfully came up with a lactation diet with an exact caloric count served and explained in detail by our hospital dietician for breastfeeding moms like you.
A dedicated Maternity Wing nurse will teach you how to properly and safely bathe your newborn. This is especially helpful if you are a first-time mom and fear bathing on your own.
To make it more convenient for you, a representative from our Medical Records Department visits your room to assist in the processing of your newborn’s birth certificate.
You are leaving World Citi Med with something to cherish like a photo of baby’s after-birth moment, a maternity bag with exclusive freebies from our brand partners, and a hospital-monogrammed Layette for you as you continue to breastfeed your baby in the months ahead.
