WCMC Earns Reaccreditation as a Mother-Baby Friendly Health Facility
QUEZON CITY — World Citi Medical Center (WCMC) proudly announces its successful reaccreditation as a Mother-Baby Friendly Health Facility (MBFHF) by the Department of Health (DOH) through the Center for Health Development – Metro Manila.
The certificate of accreditation was officially awarded on June 25, 2025, and is valid for three years, recognizing WCMC’s continued alignment with national standards in maternal and newborn care.
This reaccreditation forms part of the DOH’s Mother-Baby Friendly Hospital Initiative (MBFHI), a global campaign that promotes exclusive breastfeeding, rooming-in, and other essential newborn care practices that prioritize the health and well-being of both mother and child.
The recognition highlights WCMC’s ongoing commitment to providing safe, high-quality, and effective maternal and neonatal care, anchored on policies that empower mothers and support optimal newborn development.
