MRI

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) produces detailed images of the human body without the use of radiation, unlike X-rays. The scan uses a large magnet and radio transmitters as well as a receiver (computer) to show cross-sectional images of organs, soft tissues, bone, and other internal body structures.
